Otunba Sola Olatunji, Chairman, Ikale Heritage Development Association, IHDA, will on Tuesday be a guest speaker at the Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology, OAUSTECH, Okitipupa, Ondo State.
Olatunji who is to deliver the keynote address during a scholarship award ceremony will speak on “Educational Funding and Skill Acquisition; Panacea for Social and Economic Insecurity”.
The event put together by one of the Ikale’s sons, is the 2021 Aiyeku Foundation Scholarship Award Ceremony and Commissioning of a Foundation Building Project.
Dr. Aiyeku, based in United States will award scholarship to 30 indigent students of the University who are adjudged to be outstanding in their academics and in character.
According to the quest speaker, his paper will take a holistic view on whose responsibility it is to fund education between the government, parents and society and why it is germane for students of today to acquire vocational skill while still in the school.
Over 500 guests are being expected at the occasion including Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Deputy Governor of Ondo State, SSG ,Barr Oladuni Odu and all traditional rulers from the zones.
