Tambuwal: Eyes on Aso Villa

Aminu Tambuwal, governor of Sokoto State is the latest aspirant for the post of president. With his unveiling on Thursday in Abuja, his brings to three the number of politicians who have signified their intention to run for the office of president in the People’s Democratic Party, PDP alone in the last 24 hours.
Before him were Rabiu Kwankwaso, former governor of Kano state who declared at a rally on Wednesday and Dr. Bukola Saraki, the Senate president who made his declaration on Thursday at a meeting with youth representatives. All the events took place in Abuja. Tambuwal did not just make declaration, he went to the headquarters of the party to pick a nomination form. Like the other two Tambuwal also recently decamped from the All Progressives Congress, APC.
It is expected that many more will make their intention official within days.
