Osun Governor, Ademola Adeleke, makes 3 appointments
...Names Olawale Rasheed as Chief Press Secretary
Shortly after being sworn in as the sixth civilian Governor of Osun State on Sunday, Senator Ademola Adeleke made his first appointments.
He announced the appointment of Mr Teslim Igbalaye, former Osogbo Local Government and ALGON chairman as the Secretary to the State Government, while Mr. Kazeem Akinleye, another former Local Government Chairman, was named as Chief of Staff to the Governor.
Olawale Rasheed, a former editor with The Nigerian Tribune newspaper, was also announced as the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor.
Rasheed, according to reports, confirmed that the appointment letter was signed by the Governor himself.
“The appointments take immediate effect,” the statement partly read.
