Oil and Gas Stakeholder Urges Kyari to Address Inefficiency in NNPCL
A concerned oil and gas stakeholder, Otunba Sola Olatunji, has appealed to the Group Managing Director of the NNPCL, Mele Kyari to urgently address the inefficiency in the oil sector to align with the new dawn in the country.
Olatunji is miffed that the level of corruption and inefficiency in the oil sector is detrimental to the economic development of the country and a drawback to President Bola Tinubu’s drive for Nigeria’s economic recovery.
In an SMS message sent to Kyari by Olatunji on Sunday, he expressed worry that many marketers made huge payment for oil supply since December last year and till date the product has not been supplied.
The SMS reads:
Dear Mele Kyari, Happy Sunday. I am sending this SMS as a stakeholder in this Nigeria project. I am also a strong supporter of the philosophy of good governance in public and private sector in order to have a flourishing society.
I want to submit that those marketers that made huge payments to your system with your authorization since seven to eight months ago, should be supplied their product based on the price they entered into the business with you. Nigeria is a country with law and this government will not accept impunity, it’s obligatory for you to sort them out pls.
Any attempt to do otherwise will amount to sheer impunity and Mr president is a man of justice.
Best regards,
Otunba Sola Olatunji
