The immediate former Secretary to the Ondo State Government, Sunday Abegunde, on Tuesday said despite his resignation, he has no intention to joining the opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Abegunde who had resigned on Monday after alleging that his former principal, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu treated him poorly while he served.
Speaking with journalists in the state’s capital, Akure, the former SSG said his resignation doesn’t mean he is defecting.
He says he remains a committed member of the All progressives Congress, APC, in the state.
He said, ” Even though I have resigned, I am not defecting to the PDP, I remain a loyal member of the APC.”
