Adamawa, Imo, Plateau Get New Commissioners of Police

The Inspector General of Police, IGP, Mr. Mohammed Adamu, on Tuesday, ordered the posting of new Commissioners of Police to Adamawa, Imo and Plateau States respectively.

The Force Public Relations Officer, FPRO, Mr. Frank Mba, a Deputy Commissioner of Police, disclosed this in a statement he issued in Abuja.

The new Commissioners include: Mr. Olugbenga Adeyanju(Adamawa State), Mr. Isaac Olutayo Akinmoyede(Imo STate), and Mr Edward Chuka Egbuka (Plateau).

The Force CID department at the Force Headqarters, Abuja, also has a new Commissioner. He is Mr. Audu Adamu Madaki

“While enjoining the citizens of the affected States to accord the CPs maximum support and cooperation,” Mba contInued in the statement, “the IGP charges the newly posted officers to ensure that they effectively consolidate and improve on the performances of their predecessors.”

The postings are with immediate effect.
