Governor Ortom: Yet another tragedy
Benue State has been plunged into mourning again. Reports say nine people were killed Friday when gunmen attacked Tse Ujoh, a community in Ikyurav-Tiev in Katsina Alla local government of the state.
Though officials have confirmed the invasion, there are no clues yet about when and how the attack was made.
There have been mass burials in the state due to attacks by invading militants. This has also become a political issue, even before Governor Samuel Ortom decamped to the People’s Democratic Party, PDP from the All Progressives Congress, APC , the party on which platform he was voted into office in 2015.
