OKIGWE ELDERS FORUM VISIT IMO GOV. IHEDIOHA
It was a gathering of giants when leaders and elders from the Okigwe Zone paid a visit to Governor Emeka Ihedioha at his country home in Mbutu Mbaise.
The group led by Prof. Maurice Iwu in a statement, said it had come with goodwill and felicitations for the newly sworn in governor of Imo State. They also appealed for more attention to Okigwe Zone which is considered the unfavoured of the three zones of the state.
It turned out a meeting of brothers as there was much camaraderie and fellow feeling.
Governor Ihedioha reassured them he would not only be governor for all, he would serve Imo with diligence and equity.
Among the delegation include former governor Ikedi Ohakim, former deputy governor, Ebere Udeagu, members of the clergy led by Bishop Godson Ukanwa, Prof Obioma Iheduru led the intelligentsia while Eze Oliver Ohanwe led the traditional rulers.
