Tragedy struck outside a court room in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, when a lawyer collapsed and died.
The lawyer’s sudden death caused confusion and shock among his colleagues and staffers of the court..
The deceased identified as Eze Agala is a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the state.
He reportedly slumped just as he stepped outside the Magistrate Court building on Moscow Road, Port Harcourt.
He was immediately rushed to the Police Clinic where he was confirmed dead.
The leadership of the Port Harcourt branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has yet to comment on it, but Felix Ashimole, another lawyer in the state appeared to confirm the incident via a WhatsApp message he shared on different platforms in the state.
