People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential flag bearer in the 2019 election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar cast his vote at exactly 10.06a.m. on Saturday in his polling unit of Ajiya in Yola North Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
He was accompanied by his wife, Hajia Titi Abubakar, as he went through all the processes having arrived at 10a.m.
An optimistic Atiku spoke to newsmen after casting his vote, saying he was satisfied with the process so far.
“So far, so good,” Atiku said. “I am impressed with the process. I look forward to a successful transition.”
When asked about what his reaction would be if he loses the election, Atiku simply relied: “I am a democrat.”
