Aisha Shows Love for Buhari at 77, Addresses Husband as General

First Lady, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, shed her fighting garb for red roses, Tuesday, as openly expressed love for her man, President Muhammadu Buhari, who turned 77 today.

The First Lady took to Twitter as early as 0:46a.m. to send her birthday wishes to the President. She also added some family photos for good effect.

In addition to underscoring her ownership of the president by emphasising the word “MY”, she also addressed her man as “General” as denoted by the capital letter ‘G’ in the acronym, GMB.

This might be a veiled reference to a recent editorial by the Punch newspaper in which it announced its resolve to be addressing President Muhamadu Buhari by his military title of Major General, henceforth; and his administration as “Regime” in protest against alleged human rights violations and disobedience to court orders.

Aisha was in fighting mode recently when she openly requested the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, to resign, accusing him of disloyalty and doing the bidding of Alhaji Mamman Daura.

Daura, a cousin of the President, is widely believed to be a member of the powerful cabal purportedly holding sway at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock.
