DSS Arrests Two IS Commanders

The Department of State Service, DSS has announced the arrest of two commanders of the Islamic State in West Africa , ISWA. The two were arrested in a village in Gwagwalada, close to Abuja. A statement on Thursday by Tony Opuiyo, spokesman of DSS named the suspects who were arrested on May 5, as Bashiru Adams and Rufai Sajo.
He said reports of investigations showed that the suspects had plans to carry out attacks on some unsuspecting persons.
The arrest of the duo was not the only exploit that the DSS has recorded in recent time. According to Opuiyo, some other suspected terrorists had been arrested the previous month. Those who had earlier been arrested include Umar Dogo, a suspected member of ISWA who was nabbed at Muda Lawal market in Bauchi.
Another two in the custody of the DSS are Adamu Hassan, aka Bale and Abubakr Abubakar aka Alhaji or Buba. The last two are said to be experts in improvised explosives devices, IEDs. This feat by the DSS is particularly crucial at a time alarm is raised about the country being used as a training ground for personnel of Islamic State, IS, with a purpose to launch attack on Britain.
