AFCON 2019: Group B Not A Piece of Cake, Says Rohr

Nigeria Super Eagles handler, Gernot Rohr has warned that contrary to the people’s belief that the AFCON 2019 would be an easy walk-over for the Eagles, Group would be one of the toughest groups in Egypt.

Nigeria is drawn with Guinea,  Madagascar and Burundi in Group B of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations but the coach says football is not mathematics as the team has to work an prepare effectively for the fiesta insisting that there are no football minors any more.

The draw for the 32nd AFCON finals was held on Friday in Cairo, Egypt and the tournament will hold between June 21 and July 19 with venues in Cairo International Stadium; Borg El-Arab Stadium, Alexandria; Suez Stadium; Air Defence Stadium; Ismailia Stadium and; Al Salam Stadium in Egypt.

Egypt will kick off the event against Zimbabwe with DR Congo, Uganda and Zimbabwe also in the group.

Group F has Cameroon, Ghana and Guinea Bissau.

In Group D, there are Morocco, Ivory Coast, South Africa and Namibia.

Group C features Senegal, Algeria, Kenya and Tanzania.
