Double Wahala: London Hit By Major Water Shortage Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

Double wahala in London as around 25,000 homes are without water this morning after a pipe burst in south London. It poses a major health risk amid the worsening coronavirus pandemic, with scientists and health experts advising that washing your hands regularly can protect you from becoming infected with the deadly disease. Thames water said staff were onsite at King Garth Mewes to restore supplies back to normal. A notice on their website confirms there is no water in South West and West London postcodes. The statement said: ‘Our specialist engineers are already on their way to investigate the problem, and they will be doing everything they can to get things up and running as quickly as possible.
