Again, FG Reduces Price of Petrol to N123.50

The price of petrol in Nigeria has been reduced to N123.50 per litre with effect from April 1, 2020.

The announcement of the new price came few days after  the original pump price of N145.00 was reduced to N125.00 on March 18 by the Federal Government.

The new price was announced on Tuesday by the Executive Secretary of Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency, PPPRA, Abdulkadir Saidu.

Said he: “The guiding price which becomes effective 1 April 2020, shall apply at all retail outlets nationwide for the month of April 2020.”

It would be recalled that the reduction in the pump price of petrol resulted from plunge in the price of crude oil in the international markets
