Renowned Televangelist and Senior Pastor of Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet TB Joshua has expressed his willingness to pray for COVID-19 patients in isolation centres around the world. This, according to the renowned cleric, will be in form of virtual intercessory prayers through his church’s international channel, Emmanuel TV.
It would be recalled that most recently, the World Health Organisation, WHO, acknowledged the relevance of religious organizations like SCOAN in the battle against the pandemic. T.B. Joshua’s church was specifically mentioned during a press briefing at the Health Body’s international headquarters. This followed a series of medically confirmed healing testimonies by Emmanuel TV viewers around the world who tested positive to Covid-19 and later tested negative after intercessory prayers on the TV channel.
With such success stories and undisputed testimonies, the church has again reached out to relevant authorities in the battle against the pandemic to take advantage of the church’s intervention.
In a special announcement posted to Joshua’s YouTube channel Emmanuel TV, the cleric advised relevant government and medical authorities to “organise those who are in isolation” and “arrange how to connect them to us on Emmanuel TV”.
“The blessing of Jesus is for those who knock and ask,” the announcement began. “In whatever way you support to make this happen, we are a team; we are not doing more than you,” it added.
“Together we shall pray for them. Together we shall be set free from this COVID-19,” the statement went on. The church also supported its offer with, Biblical references such as that of Luke 4:40 where Jesus healed “all who had various kinds of sickness after the mass prayer.”
“The same anointing that heals one is also able to heal all at the same time,” the statement concluded.
