The paramount ruler of Igala kingdom, HRM Michael Ameh Oboni II is dead.
The paramount ruler died in Abuja on Wednesday, August 26, in an undisclosed private hospital.
The cause of his death is still sketchy as at the time of filing this report.
Sources, however, disclosed that he passed on after a brief ailment.
Until his death, he was the Attah of Igala, chairman, Kogi State traditional council.
Meanwhile, no official statement has been issued on the death.
Kogi state government and the traditional council in Igala are yet to issue any statement on the demise of the paramount ruler.
