The Ikale Heritage Development Association, IHDA has congratulated an icon and governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN as he clocks 65 years today.
.In a special message to the effervescent and courageous Governor of the Year (Courtesy of the Vanguard Award last weekend), chairman of the socio-cultural group, Otunba Sola Olatunji wishes him God’s guidance in the onerous task of making Ondo State an Eldorado and many more glorious years in good health.
“We want to say 65 hearty cheers to Governor Akeredolu and salute his guts as a leader,” Olatunji said. “At 65, the governor has served the nation and mankind in several capacities and we are happy to have him as governor of Ondo State.
“Without fear, I can boldly describe the former Nigerian Bar Association President as an emerging leader in South-west, a fearless one at that who believes in equity, justice, united and an egalitarian Nigeria.
“Aketi can look back today and beat his chest having created huge investment in Ondo State especially the laudable feat of making Ore an emerging industrial hub in Nigeria. For this, the IHDA joins the people of Ondo State to pop champagne and celebrate the iconoclast Aketi at 65.”
Otunba Olatunji urges the governor to remain focused and use the occasion of his 65th birthday to recharge his energy to break new grounds in the development of the state and also provide unfettered security to the people and their properties.
