The Secretary to the Ekiti State Government, Hon. Biodun Oyebanji, has resigned from the cabinet of Dr. Kayode Fayemi with effect from Tuesday, December 7, 2021..
According to a release issued by Yinka Oyebode, spokesman to the the Governor, Oyebanji conveyed the resignation through a letter to Dr. Fayemi, dated December 3, 2021.
Oyebanji hinged his resignation on his decision to contest the forth-coming governorship election in the state.
Accepting Oyebanji’s resignation, Fayemi thanked the former SSG for “his remarkable contribution to the administration since inception in 2018 and wished him well in his future endeavours.”
