Shehu Sani’s Expose: How PDP Losers in Kaduna Used Vigilantes, Hunters to Recover Money from Delegates

Former Senator and  People’s Democratic Party gubernatorial aspirant in Kaduna State, Shehu Sani, has revealed  that some aspirants who failed to secure tickets have been using house arrest to get a refund of the money shared to the delegates.
Sani said this via his Twitter page  saying: “A man who has lost the House of Reps ticket in Kaduna has recovered over N100million from delegates this evening using vigilantes and hunters.
“Some aspirants are moving house to house arresting delegates who collected their money and didn’t vote for them.”
Sani however, faulted the attitude of paying delegates to vote during the party primaries.
“If paying delegates is justified, the masses of the people can’t be faulted for demanding bags of rice before they vote,” Sani explained.
The son of a former Vice President Namadi Sambo’s is reported to have said that he requested the PDP delegates to refund his money after losing the Kaduna Primaries.
Namadi, who had promised to add N1.5million to the amount given to each of the delegates if given the ticket, was said to be the aspirant that secured the least votes among the three contenders.
The delegates raked in millions of naira from the aspirants who appeared in a hurry to outspend one another.
