Call it a marriage of Media and Nollywood, and you may have hit the nail right on the head!
This is because there will be no deficit of media personalities and Nollywood stars at one of England’s oldest Abbeys as the owner of Folio Group and Daily Times publisher, Fidelis Anosike, 56, ties the nuptial knot with Nollywood star, Rita Dominic, 47, this Saturday, November 26, 2022.
Indeed, there is love in the air! Rita Dominic, going by her Instagram posts, is already walking on air, extremely delighted about her big day.
Though labelled a private affair, scores of media and entertainment personalities are already in the British capital eagerly waiting to add colour to the wedding, which has already set both the traditional and social media on fire.
The event is coming seven months after the couple revealed their engagement to the world on April 5, 2022. The traditional wedding took place on April 19, 2022, at Rita Dominic’s late father’s compound in Aboh, Mbaise, Imo State. The compound also doubles as the residence of the community’s traditional ruler, Eze Marcellenus J.O Waturuocha.
Sources close to the couple revealed that Nollywood stars, Kate Henshaw, Vicky Sogunro, and Olivia Waturuocha would be part of Rita Dominic’s bridal train with popular TV host, Michelle Dede, serving as her chief maid of honour.
The couple will consummate their love at an iconic 900-year-old Abbey in London.
Born in Umueri, Anambra State, in 1966, Fidelis Anosike, 56, is a 1990 graduate of the University of Benin where he got a degree in Creative Arts.
Anosike, who was also at Harvard, is a successful entrepreneur with investments in publishing, real estate, among others.
The Crest wishes the intended couple marital bliss with endless blessings and joy.
