Armed Men Invade Aregbesola’s  Aide’s Home in Osun, Assault Him, Wife, Then Empty His Bank Accounts

Minister of Interior and former Governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola’s aide Abosede Oluwaseun escaped death by a hair’s breadth after heavily armed men attacked his home,  turned him and wife to punching bags.

Oluwaseun, a staunch member of The Osun Progressives, TOP, while narrating his ordeal, explained that his house at Dada Estate area of Osogbo was besieged by the armed men.

According to him, the men scaled the fence,  gained access to the compound by and entered his house through the kitchen door, as his wife was about to close it.

He stated that the assailants threatened to kill him, and both himself and his wife were tied up and mercilessly beaten with a machete.

During the ordeal, the Aide stated that the security features on his phone were deactivated, and all the money in his accounts transferred to that of his wife, whose ATM Card had earlier been collected.

After the operation, he explained that the armed men left with his Toyota Camry.

Confirming the incident, the Osun State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola, stated that she is aware of the attack, adding that, it was reported to the Dada Estate Police Station.

She assured that efforts are ongoing to apprehend the assailants.
