In a swift reaction to the tribunal victory of Senator Ademola Isiaka Adeleke as the legitimate governor of Osun State, the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has rubbished the verdict saying it will not stand.
The party made its position known in a short statement issued by its Director of Media and Publicity, Mr. Kunle Oyatomi, saying the party rejected the Election Petition Tribunal verdict in its entirety.
“‘The verdict cannot stand superior legal scrutiny. Therefore, we will appeal against it,” Oyatomi said in the statement.
