Adedoyin was arraigned alongside six staff members of his hotel: Adedeji Adesola, Magdalene Chiefuna, Adeniyi Aderogba, Oluwale Lawrence, Oyetunde Kazeem and Adebayo Kunle.

When the case got underway, Thursday, the court ordered them remanded in the correctional centre pending the determination of Adedoyin’s bail application.

Adedoyin was, among others, docked on 11 counts charge bordering on conspiracy, murder, altering of evidence, felony, indecent interference with the deceased’s body.

Counsel to Adedoyin, Mr. K. Eleja, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, sought the permission of the court to admit his client to bail on account of a medical report issued by the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, and Asokoro District Hospital.

Counsel to the other defendants, Mr. Kunle Adegoke, SAN, also moved bail application for his clients, arguing that the affidavits and exhibits before the court speak for themselves.

But ruling on the bail applications, the Chief Judge, Justice Adepele Oyebola-Ojo, ordered that defendant be remanded in Ilesa Correctional Centre till tomorrow, Friday, March 4, 2022, to allow the application to be moved.
